Mandy Berry Cheek

Mandy Cheek is a native of Kernersville, NC. She is a mother to two teenagers and wife of 25 years. She has a background as a physical therapist assistant (since 2000) and is now, after encouragement from Kathy Rooney, a graduate of The Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado. After years of searching for answers with her own health concerns which centered around multiple miscarriages and issues resulting from that, Mandy found Rolfing® to address persistent SI joint pain. After receiving the initial ten series, Mandy experienced several benefits. One of these was that she was pain free for an entire year. After continuing with Rolfing® as needed for over five years and being progressively impressed with the effectiveness of Rolfing®, Kathy suggested that Mandy pursue her education in Rolfing®. She graduated in March of 2020.

Mandy enjoys multiple outdoor activities and sports including softball, volleyball, swimming, and has recently began exploring Yoga. She is also a singer and music aficionado. She enjoys gardening and is endlessly curious about several topics, including health. She spent a few years homeschooling her children after her son was diagnosed with Asperger’s (on the autism spectrum). Her son is now a graduate of Early College of Forsyth where her daughter is now a Sophomore. Her husband is from Winston-Salem and is a veteran, retired after 20 years in the United States Marine Corps. She is excited to be of service to others in their search for and maintenance of their own health.
